Dear Family and Friends in CHRIST:

Greetings in the Name of JESUS, the Word made flesh filled with grace and truth and salvation for everyone who trusts in Him!

Well, by GOD’S grace here I am again in India. We are about half way through our ministry to India on this trip. Our hearts are filled with praise and glory to GOD for the working of His HOLY SPIRIT in and through us during our time here. “Our hearts” includes five students from the Bible School in Camrose: Kaylyn Isaac, Andrea Lebrecque, Bethany Gaertner, Trevor Loken and Andrew Odegard; and three other young ladies including: Danielle Larson, Sarah Kobler (my niece from Texas) and my daughter, Heidi. Being with so many young people certainly keeps the energy and excitement level high. The LORD has greatly blessed us with good health and safety during our time here. Thank you for your prayers for all of us. GOD has heard and answered all of our prayers abundantly.

"Abundantly" is certainly the word that describes this mission to India. The LORD has filled our days with great fellowship with our team and with our many brothers and sisters here in India, many opportunities to share His love and truth and salvation with many children, youth, adults and senior citizens, and an incredible harvest as we have prayed for hundreds of people. The LORD continues the awesome work of His SPIRIT here in India. Despite the hardships the people live under and despite the increasing threat of persecution in India, the harvest in India has never been greater, as more and more people turn to the LORD and call on Him for His salvation.

The young people on our team—as opposed to me, the old one—have been involved with teaching VBS-type Bible School classes and songs and playing games with the over 300 children at St. Paul’s School, as well as sharing a DRIME (Disciples Ready In Mobile Evangelism), music, and testimonies at our Gospel meeting. So far we have held 7 Gospel meetings in 5 different villages or cities. At our Gospel meeting last evening in the village of Swarnapalem, near Chirala, we shared the Gospel of salvation in CHRIST with 500–600 people with around 200 or so coming for prayer afterwards. We have also been involved with some medical camps, and spoke in a few churches. Our days are overflowing with blessings and praise to the LORD who has enabled us to serve Him here in India.

We praise GOD too, for Pastor Luther, Dr. Anand and John Titus, our partners in India, who have organized everything here for us. We still have much work to do in India during the next couple of weeks. We will be sharing at 7 or 8 more Gospel meetings, conducting a couple of one-day seminars for Pastors and Gospel workers, visiting more villages, and observing more medical camps. On this trip, we again brought two physician's medical packs, from Health Partners International Canada, filled with enough medicines for 1500–2000 people. These medicines are given to people by Dr. Moses Raju and his assistants at free medical camps usually conducted in churches in the villages.

Our time here hasn’t all been work, we also enjoyed a day at the Chennai zoo where we went on a safari type tour of some uncaged lions, as well as seeing some elephants, hippos , etc. The wonders of GOD are all around us in the beauty of creation, and above all in the revelation of His salvation through CHRIST to many people.

Please continue to pray for us and for the salvation of the LORD to reach more and more people: children, youth, and adults here in India through our ministry here.

“Now to Him who by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT at work within us is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, to Him be glory in the Church and in CHRIST JESUS, to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Eph. 3:20–21)

In the Love and Service of our LORD JESUS CHRIST,

Pastor Al
